Live on the Lawn

Live music every Sunday at The Waterline Restaurant from 1 pm to 4 pm. Come and enjoy the tunes from amazing local artists. Book your table and enjoy a meal from their multi-award winning restaurant. Bookings are essential via the website link.

Yeppoon Community Markets

Held every Saturday from 6am – 10am at the Yeppoon Showgrounds. Here you’ll find a wide selection of “picked yesterday” fruit and veg, herbs, preserves, dry goods and even pickled eggs and locally made salami. There’s almost no limit to what you can find – new and second-hand treasures, fashion, accessories, plants, homewares, art, books, toys and collectibles.

Emu Park Markets

Emu Park Picnic Markets are held on the third Sunday of every month until noon at Bell Park. Emu Park Picnic Markets have over a hundred stalls providing a wide range of new and used goodies. Grab yourself some usual market bargains like fresh produce, plants, preserves, craft, novelty items, art, and woodwork. You can find a unique present for a special person in your life and solve the problem of what to buy that “hard to buy for” person.

Rockhampton Oktoberfest

The Rockhampton Riverside Precinct is again set to be transformed into a celebration of Bavarian food, beer and entertainment. Taste your way across a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and a range German inspired foods. There’ll be authentic Bavarian Oom-pah music to entertain you into the evening – prost!

Open Skiff World Championship 2027

An international youth sailing regatta bringing together top junior sailors from around the world. Hosted at Keppel Bay, the event features fast, high-performance Open Skiff racing over multiple days of competition in coastal waters, showcasing skill, speed and emerging sailing talent in a fun, global championship atmosphere.

The event takes place from 26 December 2026 – 4 January 2027
